PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a containing case having a structure which enables a recording medium to be simply contained in and taken out of the case and which makes the contained recording medium hardly fall off the case and further hardly breakable in the case. SOLUTION: A containing case 1 comprises an outer case 2 and an inner case 21. First locking parts 10, 10 and a second locking part 11 are formed at an upper and a lower portions on each of inside faces 7b, 9b of a right-side and a left-side walls 7, 9 of the outer case 2, respectively. Third locking parts 27, 27 and a fourth locking part 29, which are respectively locked to the first locking parts 10, 10 and to the second locking part 11, are formed at an upper and a lower portions on each of outside faces 25a, 26a of a right-side and a left-side walls 25, 26 of the inner case 21, respectively. Locking claws 31, 31 for locking the locking recesses 61 of a recording medium 60 contained in a containing chamber 50 are provided on the right-side wall 25 and the left-side wall 26, respectively.
