PURPOSE: An emitter driving circuit of a field emission display is provided to adjust the electron emission time by using pulse modulation method to adjust the amount of current through an emitter tip. CONSTITUTION: The driving circuit includes a condenser(C), the first inverter(IV1), the second inverter(IV2), a plurality of resisters(R1,R2,R3,R4) and a plurality of analog switches(20,22,24,26). The field emission display further includes a gate, an emitter and a driver which forms a current path between the emitter and the ground. The condenser performs modulation on a driving pulse input to the driver. The first inverter(IV1) inverts the driving pulse. The second inverter inverts the signal according to the charge/discharge result of the condenser. The resisters varies the data voltage input. The analog switches varies the resistances of the resisters. The resistors are connected in series. The switches are connected in series with one another and in parallel with respect to each resistor.
