PURPOSE: An optical disk with deep groove-high density is provided for a recording/reproducing apparatus to correctly decide a land track and a groove track while precisely tracking a target track. CONSTITUTION: Header information on header areas of each sector of a land track, and header information on header areas of each sector of a groove track are detected as opposite codes in tracking. Herein, the header information is recorded in deep bits, which is deeper than pits of a groove along a row separated from a mirror field. In recording header information in a header area, the header information are recorded after being separated. Thus, first and second header information is recorded on a left side of the mirror field based on a progressing direction of an optical spot. Third and fourth information are recorded on a right side of the mirror field.
