PURPOSE: A control system for a manual transmission is provided to control a friction resistance caused by a friction between a select cable and a shift cable by operating select and gearshift levers with select and shift actuators forming magnetic field b the operation of a speed change switch. CONSTITUTION: A manual transmission control system comprises a select actuator(5) connected to one end of a select lever(1) installed in one side of a select shaft to operate the select lever; a shift actuator(7) connected to one end of a gearshift lever(3) to operate the gearshift lever, independent of the select actuator; and a speed change switch(9) transmitting an operation signal to operate the select and the shift actuator. A first coil(19) of the select actuator receives power to form a magnetic field and a rod(11) is operated through a movable iron core(13) and then the select lever is operated. Power is transmitted to a first coil(31) of the shift actuator to form a magnetic field to operate a rod(23) through a moveable iron core(25) and then the gearshift lever is operated.
