PURPOSE: An oil draining apparatus of a rear axle is provided to promote degree of cleanness of oil in changing of oil by completely draining oil in a rear axle. CONSTITUTION: An oil draining apparatus(3) is prepared at the lower portion of a rear axle housing(1). As the rear axle housing transmits rotational force transmitted from a propeller shaft(5) to rear drive wheels, a final reduction gear and a differential gear are embedded in the rear axle housing. The rear axle housing contains oil(7) for lubricating components. The oil draining apparatus consisting of a drain hole(9), a drain plug(11) and a drain plug operating unit changes oil by completely draining the oil through operation of the drain plug via the drain plug operating unit.
