PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent notification from being finished until at least one general telephone set answers even when general telephone sets and communication equipment having an automatic answering function are both connected. SOLUTION: General telephone sets 21 to 2n (n: integer larger than one) and at least, one communication device (FAX 31) having an automatic answering function are both connected and a notification device 41 gives a notice to the general telephone set and communication device. One notification group is formed of only the general telephone sets when viewed from the notification device, which completes the notification when at least, one general telephone set answers irrelevantly to whether or not the communication device answers.
