PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy monitoring the insufficient state of an output current which is caused by the state of overcurrent. SOLUTION: This power source unit is equipped with a conversion part 3, which converts an input to a specified output and supplies it to a load side, and an overcurrent detecting part 4 for detecting the state of overcurrent of an output current, and constituted so as to perform overcurrent protecting operation, when the output current becomes an overcurrent. The power source unit is equipped with an output current detecting part 7 which detects an output current, and an output current monitor 8 monitoring, in real time, the state of the output current by the output of the detecting part 7, and is constituted in such a manner that the supply output of the power source unit can be monitored by the output current monitored by the output current monitor 8.
