PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an optical disk with elastic arm parts and to prevent contact between the elastic arm parts and the optical disk when the optical disk is rotationally driven. SOLUTION: In this optical disk cartridge, since the left and right peripheral edge parts of a disk D are held with a pair of elastic arm parts 5b, left and right support for the disk D is stabilized, and the disk D is easily housed into a housing part 1a. Since a pair of the elastic arm parts 5b are also prevented to deform toward the disk D side of the elastic arms 5b by control parts 2w, 3w, the elastic arm parts 5b are eliminated to come into elastic contact with the disk D housed in the housing part 1a and the optical disk cartridge in which the disk D is smoothly rotated is obtained.
