PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter in which the effective value of output voltage can be kept constant regardless of fluctuation of input voltage. SOLUTION: An inverter 1 comprises a D/A converting section 2, an output detecting section 3, and an on duty control section 4. The D/A converting section 2 converts a DC voltage (DC) being supplied from a vehicle mounted charging battery 5 into an AC voltage (AC). The output voltage detecting section 3 detects the output voltage from the D/A converting section 2 directly or indirectly. The on duty control section 4 controls on duty of the output voltage, i.e., the output period or output stop period, at the output section of the D/A converting section 2 based on a voltage detected at the output voltage detecting section 3 such that the output voltage has a constant effective value Veff. |
