An arrangement for generation of coded high frequency (HF) signals included a convertor (10) for converting the process energy into electrical energy, and an element (11) having a non-linear characteristic for converting the LF electrical energy from the converter (10) in HF electrical energy. There is a filter (12) for coding the HF electrical energy from the converter (11). The filter (12) can be a SAW element. When the process energy is mechanical energy, a piezo-element is utilised as a converter. The process energy may be thermal energy, and the converter (10) is a pyroelectric element, alternatively, when the process energy is mechanical, the converter may be a magnet and electric coil arrangement.
