A detergent composition to be used with an implement containing a pad containing super absorbent material contains no more than 10% of detergent material(s), level of hydrophobic materials, including solvent, less than 0.5% and a pH of more than 9. Also claimed are: (1) a kit comprising an implement containing a pad containing super-absorbent material and a detergent composition as above; and (2) the detergent composition as above in a container, in association with instructions to use it with a pad containing super-absorbent material.
