<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain flow control where priority for each port is designated. SOLUTION: In a switching hub adopting this flow control system, data from terminals received through a plurality of ports are stored in a buffer 4. When a data quantity in this buffer 4 exceeds a threshold, a different transmission stop time is provided to each of the ports P1-P6 in a switching hub which stops signal reception, by transmitting a transmission stop instruction whose parameter includes a transmission stop time to each terminal connected to each port.</p> |
