PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle which can be effectively reduced in gear noise. SOLUTION: A speed reducer 3 is provided with an input shaft 25 connected with an output shaft 28 of a motor 2, an output shaft 36 connected with driving wheels, and a first and a second planetary gear mechanisms 42, 43 installed between the input shaft 25 and the output shaft 36. Sun gears 44, 45 of the planetary gear mechanisms 42, 44 are connected to each other, and the input shaft 25 and an internal gear 50 of the first planetary gear mechanism 42 are connected to each other and a carrier 48 of the first planetary gear mechanism 42 and an internal gear 51 of the second planetary gear mechanism 43 are connected to the output shaft 36. A carrier 49 of the secondary planetary gear mechanism 43 is fixed to a case member 9 of the speed reducer 3. A cover member 55 is also installed, whose one end is connected to the sun gears 44, 45 with the other end connected rotatably to the outer surface of the input shaft 25. |
