PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission output control circuit that can conduct stable power-down control. SOLUTION: This transmission output control circuit adopts a configuration of an APC circuit that drives a variable resistor attenuator 2 on the basis of a comparison result between a reference voltage and a detection voltage via microstrip lines 51-53 so as to control a transmission output. When the transmission output control circuit receives a power-down control signal 15, a power supply of a driver amplifier 3 is turned off and a degree of coupling of a microstrip line coupler 5 is switched to change a detection voltage. The detection voltage is compared with a corresponding reference voltage. The degree of coupling is selected by selecting any of a plurality of the microstrip lines with different line length that are provided in advance.
