PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information processor and a printed matter which can simplify bar codes containing URL information and can make desired information on the Internet easily and surely accessible. SOLUTION: In a printed bar code 11, only the numeral information of an IP address is coded as URL information. The bar code 11 is read by means of a bar code reader 13 incorporated in a remote controller 12 and converted into the URL designated by the IP address by means of an address converting circuit 14 in an STB 14. The STB 14 performs access to a home page on the Internet based on the URL designated by the IP address and displays the information on the home page on a television receiver 16.
