PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray communication auxiliary device that attains infrared ray communication even when a plurality of electric or electronic devices for the infrared ray communication are not placed to set their communication windows in alignment and to provide an infrared ray communication system. SOLUTION: After a reception section 42a of an infrared ray communication auxiliary device 10a receives an infrared ray signal that is transmitted from a transmission section 4 of a controller 1 and acts like a control signal to control a terminal 2, a conversion section 46 demodulates once the signal and a transmission section 41b transmits an infrared ray signal to a reception section 7 of the terminal 2 by modulating the demodulated signal to be the original control signal. Furthermore, a transmission section 6 transmits an infrared ray signal acting like a reply signal from the terminal 2 controlled by the transmitted infrared ray signal and the signal is received by a reception section 42b of the infrared ray communication auxiliary device 10a, the conversion section 46 demodulates the signal once and modulates it to obtain the original reply signal and a transmission section 41a transmits the modulated signal to a reception section 5 of the controller 1. Thus, infrared ray communication is attained between electric or electronic devices with an infrared ray communication function whose transmission reception sections are not placed in alignment. |
