PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To initialize and confirm data by arranging a nonvolatile memory in a microcomputer gas meter as an external memory, and storing the data in a microcomputer. SOLUTION: A nonvolatile memory 2 is arranged in a microcomputer 1 as an external memory. Thus, for example, data of the microcomputer 1 can be written in the nonvolatile memory 2 at a specific interval with every about 24 hours to back up the data. In initializing the data, when initializing the data by applying a reset by a function of a watchdog timer when run away is caused, whether or not to use an initial valve at that time is judged, and the initial value is used or the data is loaded from the nonvolatile memory 2. In confirming the data, when the data becomes abnormal by noise, the data of the microcomputer 1 is compared with data of the memory 2 to judge whether or not it is abnormal, and when it is abnormal, the data is corrected. |
