PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballot paper issuing machine capable of supporting the counting work of the number of voters. SOLUTION: An optional controller 70 connected to a main controller 50 is provided with an operation panel 76 having age switches for inputting the age of a voter and a male key 72 and a female key 74 with which sex is inputted. When either the key 72 or the key 74 is pressed down after pressing down an age switch, only one piece of ballot paper 2 is projected from the slit 16 of a device main body 12. The number of issued paper is counted in accordance with ages and sexes in conjunction with the extraction of the paper 2.
