PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in the cost and to decrease environmental contamination by reusing an alignment liquid which is drained without being used for printed to a waste liquid acceptor. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with (a) a source material supply means 42, 48, 50, 52 to supply the source material of alignment films, (b) printing means 54, 56, 58 to print the objective body with the source material supplied by the source supply means, and (c) recovering means 72, 74, 76 to send the alignment film source material 62 which is supplied to the printing means but not used for printing to the source material supply container 42. The source material supplied and recovered is kept at a low temp. of <=20 deg.C, preferably about at 5 deg.C and then heated to the temp. suitable for printing prior to be supplied to the printing means. By judging the recovered source material whether it can be reused or not from the purity of the source material, decrease in the quality of the alignment film can be prevented. |
