PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat exchanger withstanding against extremely high inner pressure in which a stabilized working temperature can be reached quickly by securing a core assembly between a plurality of extruded aluminum headers arranged in parallel and providing a plurality of fluid ducts surrounded by heat dissipation fins. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 10 comprises a plurality of headers 12, 14 arranged in parallel while being spaced apart. A plurality of spaced frame members 16, 18 extend between the opposite ends of both headers 12, 14. Furthermore, a heat exchanging core assembly 20 is disposed between both headers 12, 14 while communicating therewith. The core assembly 20 comprises a plurality of fluid ducts 22 of relatively small diameter extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of both headers 12, 14, as a whole. The fluid ducts 22 is surrounded by a plurality of fins 24 each extending in parallel with the longitudinal axis of both headers 12, 14. One header 12 is provided with an inlet 26 and an outlet 28, respectively, at the opposite ends.
