PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting mechanism of an element including a glass substrate making a connection failure of the element including the glass substrate sepairable when it is detected, and reduce the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: After an end part 1a of a PDP 1 is inserted into a 2nd receiving cave 13, the position of the force point C is displaced by operating a finger operating part 40 of a driving member 31 of a toggle mechanism 30 by finger to energize a cover 18 onto a closing positing via a leaf spring 33. The PDP 1 can easily be attached and detached to/from a connector 8 as a holding mechanism, and moreover, it can be held firmly. An elastic member 23 is elastically pressed on a transparent electrode 6 of the PDP 1 in the holding state, to bring the electrode into electric conduction with a fine metallic wire 26 contained in the elastic member 23. |
