TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner superior in developing performance and so excellent in durability that it can maintain a high resolution image even after many copied images or printer images are outputted. SOLUTION: The toner has toner particles containing at least a binding resin and a colorant and fine particles of an inorganic compound comprising at least a phosphoric acid compound. Ions of a metal selected from at least the alkaline earth metals are contained as a cation constituting the inorganic compound. The inorganic compound contains two or more kinds of cation and at least one kind of the cations is ions of a metal selected from groups IB and VIII metals. The inorganic compound may be slightly water-soluble fine particles based on phosphate of an alkaline earth metal part of which has been substituted by a metal selected from the groups IB and VIII metals.
