<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an interactive communication device which can visually express the feeling and intention of a sender by using characters, etc., so that the feeling and intention which are hardly transmitted by only letters are accurately transmitted by providing a character conversion part which converts information obtained from electronic mail into character image data. SOLUTION: Electronic mail is delivered through a network 18 such as the internet. A conversation conversion part 12 converts the contents of a conversation received by an electronic mail transmission and reception part 11 into conversation history data and stores them in a conversation history database 14. The reception contents are passed as they are to a conversation and character display part 16. A character conversion part 13 collates the reception contents with a character database 15 and passes character image data that are matched with the reception contents to a conversation and character display part 16. In the character database 15, user IDs of electronic mail, etc., and character image data corresponding thereto are registered.</p> |
