PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable handling in a daylight room and adaptation to a direct imaging method with laser, to obtain an image having high resolution and to prevent the generation of waste liquor on the customer side by applying a silver salt emulsion and continuously applying a developing solution prior to substantially drying the emulsion to carry out development. SOLUTION: An original plate (a) for planographic printing is imagewise irradiated with laser (exposure of non-image area). The adhesion of the irradiated part of a thin silver film 3 to an aluminum surface is weakened and the irradiated part is removed by a means such as evacuation to disclose an anodically oxidized aluminum surface layer 2. The resulting planographic printing plate is bonded to a planographic printing machine, ink is received by the remaining part of the thin silver film 3 and water is received by the anodically oxidized aluminum surface layer 2 to enable planographic printing. In this case, it is necessary to apply a developing solution to a silver halide emulsion prior to substantially drying the emulsion. |
