PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in a printed film thickness of a front side conductive layer at steps and particularly prevent brightness degradation when an IC inverter is driven by precluding resistance loss, thus inexpensively providing an electroluminescent lamp. SOLUTION: The electroluminescent lamp 10 is attained whereby a luminescent layer 2 is formed on the part except a front side conductive layer forming section 6 for connecting an external electrode on a transparent electrode 1b of a transparent conductive film 1. On this, a reflective insulative layer 3 is print-formed so as to protrude over a luminescent layer end face 2a of the front side conductive layer forming section 6. A front side conductive layer 5 communicating with the transparent electrode 1b is print-formed from a part of a back side electrode 4 and the transparent electrode 1b to a part of the reflective insulative layer 3.
