METHOD FOR ASSAYING CREATINE KINASE ISOZYME ACTIVITY AND ASSAY REAGENT

A highly convenient method for accurately assaying the activity of creatine kinase MB isozyme (CK-MB) wherein the activity of creatine kinase isozyme (mCK) localized in mitochondria is inhibited to thereby avoid the effects of mCK. This method is one for selectively inhibiting the enzymatic activity of creatine kinase (CK) isozyme by immune inhibition characterized in that creatine kinase M (CK-M) subunit and the enzyme reaction of mCK are selectively and immunologically eliminated and then the remaining CK activity is measured.
