The travel plug has at least one housing (16) with plugs (22a-c) for different national standards on one side and a rotatable socket (12) electrically and mechanically connected to a contact pair that contact surface pairs connected to plugs depending on the rotation position. The contact surface pairs are arranged in a plane on the housing base and a spring device is arranged between each contact pair and contact surface pair in the essentially axial direction w.r.t the rotation axis.
