heat exchangers. SUBSTANCE: each partition of unit is made in form of part of circle with holes for tubes. Face planes of partitions are smooth and equal in thickness. Partitions are arranged at definite pitch at angle of 30 - 60o ± 5o relative to each other. They can be turned around larger axis of symmetry through angle of 10-30 deg. Arc-shaped edges of partitions are provided with at least two cavities. Profile of side edges of partitions is alternating arcs of circumferences of holes for tubes and straight sections. Support partition unit of shell-and-tube heat exchanger serves to support tube bank, to space heat exchange tubes and to intensify heat exchange process in heat exchanger tube space, thus increasing heat power of heat exchanger with smooth tubes by 50% and heat exchanger with knurled tubes, by 100 %.
