Process for delivering a conformal radiation therapy comprises dividing the radiation dose into segments, shifting the beam between the doses and adjusting the multi-lamella collimator to obtain a contour of the object being treated. An Independent claim is also included for a system for treating a patient with radiation comprising planning step for planning the treatment of the patient, a treatment step for treating the patient based on the planning step, and a system with an intensity of high definition (HDI) to deliver radiation whilst minimizing leakage in the collimator.
