PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slats for louver capable of preventing rain-water from entering without losing not only normal air permeability but also permeability in a time when rain and wind are strong. SOLUTION: A slat for gallery 1 comprises an inclined surface 3 increased in height ranging from the outer side to the inner side, an upper flange part 6 of which upper end is formed on an outwardly bent part 5 and a lower projected part 8 of which lower end is formed on an outwardly bent part 7, both disposed on the upper part 4 of the inclined surface 3, and a lower flange part 10 disposed on the lower part of the inclined surface 3. The inclined surface 3 is formed in a stair-shaped step part 11 of two steps 3A and 3B on both inner and outer sides in lateral cross section, outwardly projecting parts 13 and 14 are formed at a joint part 12 of the stair-shaped step part 11, and a lower projected part 17 of which lower end is formed in an outwardly bent part 16 is formed at an upper part 15 of an inclined surface 3B on the outside of the step part 11.
