PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To erect and fix wall panels having different thicknesses by on a floor pan using one kind of fixing member. SOLUTION: A fixing member 50 is arranged on a wall panel mounting section 14 and fixed to a flashing piece 16 with screws 62. A broad width section 58 and a narrow width section 60 are provided before and after a groove 56 provided on the side face of the member 50. The bottom opening of the vertical member 46 of a wall panel 40 is put on a block section 52 and, when the opening is put on the block section 52, the slit 46a of the vertical member 46 is engaged with the groove 56. When the front and back sides of the member 50 are inverted, the member 50 can cope with the thickness variation of the board 48 of the panel 40.
