PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix the volume of an interior empty space and prevent a seal from being peeled due to heat expansion in a sterilization process, by putting contents, consisting of solid matter and a liquid measured separately in fixed quantities, into a container, by pressing the contents to a fixed height with a horizontal pressing plate, and by recovering an excess of the liquid above the pressing plate. SOLUTION: After contents consisting of solid matter 1 and a liquid 2 measured separately in fixed quantities are filled into a container 3, a horizontal pressing plate 4 is lowered from above, and the contents are pressed to a specific height from the bottom of the container 3. By pressing them, air taken in together with the solid matter 1 is released. Then, an excess of the liquid 5 caused to escape above by the horizontal pressing plate 4 is sucked and recovered by a suction pipe 7. Thus, an empty space 9 made above the liquid level is always fixed, and when the container 3 is subjected to a sterilization process with the open end of the container 3 covered with a seal 10, a danger that the seal 10 might be peeled due to heat expansion is avoided and the occurrence of a production loss is prevented. |
