PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet disinfecting device having the function of preventing adhesion of fur and slime to a stool type toilet bowl and generation of odors, and having higher disinfection performance at a lower rate of use of bactericidal metal electrodes used for disinfection. SOLUTION: This toilet disinfecting device using water containing bactericidal metal ions includes a feedwater valve, an electrolytic bath, and a control part, all of which are contained in a case, the device having a feedwater pipe and a drain pipe which are communicated to the inside of the case, with the delivery opening 8 of a water distribution pipe facing the inside of a stool type toilet bowl 1. The device has means for generating the bactericidal metal ions by electrolyzing and eluting the bactericidal metal ions into water at predetermined time intervals and means for supplying the water containing the bactericidal metal ions to the stool type toilet bowl 1. The water containing the bactericidal metal ions is supplied to the toilet bowl 1 at the predetermined time intervals or at a predetermined time.
