PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject film properly compatible with adherends and excellent in anchoring force similarly to the case with co-extrusion method by coating processing operation. SOLUTION: This surface-protective film is obtained by providing one side of a substrate layer of a polyolefin-based resin such as a polyethylene film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising a block copolymer of the general formula A-B-A (A is a styrene polymer block; B is a conjugated diene block such as butadiene polymer block or isoprene polymer block or a polymer block formed by hydrogenation thereof) and the oxygen atoms derived from the epoxidized product of the above A-B-A block copolymer.
