PURPOSE: An apparatus for pressing and elevating a heat transfer head of a facsimile is provided to maintain the pressure between the heat transfer head and a roller of the facsimile. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for pressing and elevating a heat transfer head of a facsimile includes a pair of levers(10), a cam member(40), a driver, and a pair of arms(20). The pair of levers(10) is coupled with both frames and includes a guide protrusion(13) and a duck chin(15). The cam member(40) is implemented on the frame rotatably and includes a guide pin(13) of the lever and a guide hole(43). The driver is implemented on both frames so as to operate in accordance with the cam member. The pair of arms(20) is coupled with a binder of the lever, includes the heat transfer head(30) on one cross section, and is formed so as to have a predetermined angle between the roller(35) and the heat transfer head(30).
