The invention relates to oil and chemical industry and can be used for determination of position of interface of two liquids with different densities that do not mix one with another in open vessels (volumes). Device for determination of position of interface of liquid consists of pneumatic pipe that is partially immersed to vessel with liquids, source of compressed gas, pressure measuring device. According to the invention, the device additionally has registration device to which pressure gauge and indicator of displacement of pneumatic pipe are connected, this one is connected to mechanism of displacement of pneumatic pipe. The invention provides reliability and fire safety at determination of position of interface of liquids through information coming from indicator of displacement of pneumatic pipe and from pressure gauge to registering device by means of which one automatically plots graph of dependence of pressure in pneumatic pipe on depth of its immersion, that are straight lines that cross. Pont of crossing of those lines corresponds to position of interface of liquids. |
