PURPOSE: A method to detect insert for a power window device is provided not to malfunction even when in abnormal pulse edge interval, and not to give the force more than standard force for inserter. CONSTITUTION: A method to detect insert for a power window device contains the following characteristics: the system has a motor (4), an amateur driving part (3), a pulse generation part (5), MCU(Micro Control Unit)(2), a switch part (1), and a timer to be arranged in the MCU; the MCU calculates an insert decision time corresponding to the standard and renews the set time of the timer whenever pulses edge from the pulse generation part generate, and the MCU stops insert a detect in presence and stops the motor or rotates the motor reversely when the next pulse doesn't generate even passing insert a decision time after one pulse generates.
