PURPOSE: A portable information processing device with a MP3 audio function is provided to add a playback function of MP3 data with a private information processing functions. CONSTITUTION: A portable information processing device with a MP3 audio function includes an operating system, a ROM that stores all sorts of programs, data input/output devices, a LCD controller and a LCD panel used in displaying image data, an input terminal which is used in inputting encoded MP-3 data, a MP3 decoder which is used in decoding digital music signals by decoding music information included in MP3 data, a D/A converter that changes the digital music signals output from the MP3 decode, into analogue music signals, an output terminal that outputs analogue music signals output in the D/A converter to the outside.
