PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scriber unit that can stably hold the cutter and can form good engraving lines. SOLUTION: The holder 20 is supported by the body 10 so that it may be movable in the vertical direction. A piezo actuator 40 is inserted between the body 10 and the holder 20. The vertical vibration of the piezo actuator 40 is transmitted to the cutter mounted to the lowermost part of the holder 20 to form engraving lines on the work 100. The holder 20 is supported by the elastic member and the slide supporter 60 that are arranged apart from each other between the actuator 40 inside. The elastic member comprises a plate spring 61 and a ball made of an elastic material 62 and they elastically support the holder 20 in the vibration direction.
