PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably support an article. SOLUTION: An article supporting stand comprises a tape supporting mechanism 27 so supporting a tape T as to be delivered freely, a rotating arm 4 holding the tape supporting mechanism 27 in the vicinity of its end and rotating around an article, a driving mechanism 5 rotating the rotating arm 4 and delivering the tape T, a front supporting stand 2 supporting the front of the article and a rear supporting stand 3 supporting the rear of the article. A supporting tool 51 supporting the article is provided with a pair of faces 54 and 55 facing each other and clamped by the almost 45 deg. angle toward the gravity direction, and the article is disposed on a rotation central line of the rotating arm 4 by the faces 54 and 55 facing each other. When the article is placed on the faces 54 and 55 facing each other, the article is stabilized on the faces 54 and 55 facing each other by the action of gravity.
