PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain manufactured lumber increased in use value by processing wood low in use value such as lumber from thinning and edge lumber from lumbering. SOLUTION: Processed wood composed of a narrow plate A' in which both ends are recessed in the cross section perpendicular to the grain, a narrow plate B2 in which the cross section perpendicular to the grain is projected, and a connection plate 3 is obtained. Processed wood in which the recessed part of the plate A1 is connected with the one-side projected part of the projected bottom surface of the plate B2, and the connection plate 3 is fitted on the back side, or process wood which is composed of a narrow plate A' in which both ends are recessed in the cross section perpendicular to the grain, a narrow plate B' in which the cross section perpendicular to the grain is projected, and a recessed member C' and in which the thicknesses of both ends of the cross sections in the grain direction of the plate A' and the plate B' are the same, the recessed part of the plate A' is connected with the one-side projected part of the projected bottom surface of the plate B', and both ends in the grain direction of the plate A' and the plate B' are clamped by the recessed member C' are obtained.
