PURPOSE: A method for generating a charging file in the CAMA(Centralized Automatic Message Accounting) system is provided to reconfigure charging data transmitted from an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) into a charging file by the CAMA system. CONSTITUTION: If charging data are generated by an OMP, the total quantity of blocks and charging blocks by the generated charging data are transmitted to a CDT(Charging Data Transmitter) through a TCP/IP(A)(200). The CDT discriminates whether a charging block collected first is stored in the file of address No. 0(201). In case that the charging block is not stored in the file of address No. 0, the location to be inserted into a charging file is set up according to the sequence number of charging blocks(204). In order to indicate that the charging block of each corresponding sequence number was stored in a map file, a flag value is marked with "1"(205). The CDT discriminates whether a map block not marked up exists(206). If there is no map block not marked up, a charging file moved to a completion directory is transmitted to a host collector through a TCP/IP(B)(208).
