PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building such that an outdoor space which can be used effectively is easily formed even if the building is constructed in a small site. SOLUTION: In a small site 100, a plurality of building units 10, 20 having rectangular planar shapes with long and short sides of different lengths are arranged in a line along their short-side direction on plan view and piled up to construct a unitized building 1A. In this case, a building unit 20B having therein a balcony floor 30A exposed outdoors is installed on a second story part facing a road 101. Thus the unitized building 1A can be constructed simply by lifting the building unit 20B to the second story part by means of a crane or the like and lowering the building unit 20B to an installation position. Outdoor space that can be utilized effectively can be formed more easily than before.
