PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the powder injection molded article without lowering strength by including the process for melting a binder having low molecular weight and the process for melting a binder having high molecular weight and further the process for kneading these binders and a powder. SOLUTION: The binder having low molecular weight is first allowed to melt before allowing the binder having high molecular weight to melt. Thereby, the melting temp. of the latter becomes low by adding the latter into the former which is in the molten state. Accordingly, as it becomes possible to carry out the treatments such as melting of the binder having high molecular weight or kneading the binders with powder at lower temp., the mixing of impurities such as oxygen into a product is suppressed. When a metal powder, which is impossible to be reduced, such as titanium or the like, is used together with the powder, the amount of residual oxygen contained in a produced compound or in a produced powder injection molded article can be reduced. Therefore, the mechanical strength of the powder injection molded article thus obtained is improved. |
