PURPOSE: A method provides sensing the rotor position of a SRM(Synchronous Reluctance Motor), simplifying a production line and reducing a cost of production. CONSTITUTION: A ring magnet(RM) is magnetized on non-symmetry. When a 2 phase power is applies to SRM, a hole sensor operates each 60° through a position of d and q axis of the rotor. In the SRM, the position of rotor is distincted by two hole sensor each 60°. A region 1 and 2 is detected by a programming of microprocessor. In the SRM, detecting the sequence of phase is required, but distinction of the region 1 and 2 is not required.
