PAINT COMPOSITION FOR USE IN AUTOMOBILES

PURPOSE: A paint composition for use in automobiles having excellent visco-elasticity is provided to obtain a coating having good aluminium pigment orientation and anti-flowing properties as well as beautiful appearance. CONSTITUTION: A paint composition for use in automobiles according to the present invention comprises acrylic resin containing acryl, melamine curing agent and acid catalyst as a binder component wherein the acrylic resin comprises ethylene unsaturated monomer containing at least two hydroxy groups present in such amount that hydroxy equivalent is 30 to 180, 5 to 30 wt% of acetonate group-containing polyol and 10 to 90 wt% of ethylene unsaturated monomer.
