PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing an active element to a bar of warp knitting machine and an appendicular tool for eliminating and installing the active element are provided to accomplish improvements enabling the active element to be supported at a correct position by the bar without a play and eliminated and installed with ease. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fixing an active element(18) to a bar(6) of a warp knitting machine is characterized in that the bar(6) has a horizontal channel(24) for accommodating a guide section(25) of the active element(18) and a vertical groove(20) for accommodating a holding section(21) of the active element(18), the vertical groove(20) is provided with an open insertion aperture region, and the horizontal channel(24) is arranged to be adjacent to the vertical groove(20), and the holding section(21) being wedge-coupled into the groove(20) by a force of a spring(22). A tool(29) for eliminating installing the active element(18) is supported by an operation handle(31), and has a driver(34) inserted into a stopper(35) at the active element(18) so as to take the holding section(21) out from the groove(20).
