PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved bearing assembly. SOLUTION: A rotary bearing assembly 10 to be used with a water pump of a car includes a shaft or spindle 11 extending in the axial direction upon passing through a ring 15. A pair of ball contacting raceways 16 and 17 separated complementarily at a certain spacing are provided at the internal circumferential edge of the ring 15 and in the peripheral region of the spindle 11 inside the ring 15, and balls 18 in rows are arranged on these raceways in such a way as in rolling contact. One raceway with balls constituting a first rotary bearing 19 includes a certain number of balls 18 so that they are in mutual contact, while the other waceway with balls constituting a second rotary bearing 20 uses a retainer 22 so that the balls 18 are separated from one another.
