PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive each drive head with a suitable drive voltage, respectively, while reducing cost and size. SOLUTION: Each print head voltage control circuit 50C, 50M, 50Y, 50K performs second voltage control while performing temperature compensation of the output voltage from a relevant print head drive circuit head 30C, 30M, 30Y, 30K, i.e., each print head drive voltage Vpc, Vpm, Vpy, Vpk, individually. A variable output voltage type voltage supply circuit 60 for supplying an original voltage V1 to each print head voltage control circuit performs first voltage control such that the output voltage V1 is higher than an absolute maximum voltage value among total maximum voltage values obtained by adding the voltage drop of each print head voltage control circuit to each highest value of drive voltage V2c, V2m, V2y, V2k being fed to each print head drive circuit through second voltage control of each print head voltage control circuit. |
