IRON TAPPING MAINTENANCE METHOD USING SLAG INDEX

PURPOSE: A method for maintaining iron tapping is provided, by using slag index, to save the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of calculating the slag index of each iron notch by dividing the slag release time by the entire iron tapping time; comparing the slag indices, and expecting the generation of deviation in iron tapping temperature if the difference between the slag indices is larger than 0.2; and increasing the iron tapping temperature of the iron notch to prevent the deviation in iron tapping temperature.
